this has been my retreat for the past few days. my home away from home. thanks to jen for taking care of me! loves!
today....
we watched nanny diaries and cried.
took a much needed walk outdoors with angel love along the hudson river at sunset.
got massages at the local nail salon.
ate tortilla soup at maryanne's.
walked around barnes & noble on our way home. man do i love being in bookstores!
and to end the evening...jen and i watched freda kahlo.
i remember seeing it when it first came out. it didn't hit me the same way as it did tonight. jen and i were so inspired by freda kahlo's story and how it fueled her art. it makes me want to travel and pour myself into culture and life and love.
and most of all....focus on my art.
